Red Blaze was formed in the summer of 2006. After several bass player changes the band was finally made up by Jon (guitar and vocals), Ugutz (guitar and backing vocals), Alberto (bass) and Ander (drums and backing vocals). Since the very first moment all of them had clear they wanted to mix ´70s rock n´ roll with ´80s American hard rock and that´s the aim towards they worked until they recorded their first EP in 2011. Unfortunately, after the second gig Alberto quitted, who was replaced by Andoni, and so did Jon some months later due to disagreements in the way the band should take. From this moment the resting members made the decision of going on as a trio, being Ander and Ugutz who took vocal duties mainly. It is then when Red Blaze began to rise thanks to the release of the 2011 EP and some shows in 2013 but bad news once again; Ander had to leave because of personal reasons. One tough winter without a permanent drummer and when Andoni and Ugutz were about to surrender, new Ander joined them behind the kit and it is now when it seems Red Blaze is taking off.
